I’m so bored! I read the same sites and blogs each day, but they are never updated quickly enough. Please help, I don’t want to have to talk to my boyfriend, or something. sob

Think of a topic you’d like to read about or whatever and google for it.

If you’re looking for something totally pointless to waste your life on, have you considered playing world of warcraft?

If you don’t already, then put your bookmarks onto del.icio.us – it’s a social bookmarking thingy. You can then tag your bookmarks and see other users who have the same websites and their other favourites. It’s led me to find some really interesting stuff. Interesting to me, anyway…

No Web Soduku, no comment.

Ah….the Framley Examiner! I second that!
I’m surprised that no-one has mentioned www.b3ta.com yet.
Then there’s www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/ for some classic surreal animations including badgers, mushrooms, snakes and pie.

Mmmmm, Pie!

Oh, and recently I’ve started to read The Paramedics Diary… the blog of a London Ambulance Service paramedic. I find his day-to-day experiences quite interesting:

badgerbadgerbadger is possibly the greatest achievment in the history of man.

Download StumbleUpon! You click ‘stumble’ and it takes you to a site based on your interests (you have an account and tell them sites and topics you’d like). It is an extra toolbar, try it out and see if you like it. It’s so addictive and is what I use to procrastinate:

Things my girlfriend and I have argued about The FAQs are good too, especially when he deals with ‘constructive’ feedback.

Badger badger badger is very good (especially the zombie version and Mango) but this is excellent.

Overheard in New York is one of my favourite time wasters. It’s a website dedicated to stuff people have overheard in – wait for it – New York. Fancy that. It also has a mapped little brother, Overplot. Hours of entertainment…

You could have a look at what me and a few of my made-up friends started last week Rodent Presents… Something for the Weekend. Every Wednesday we recommend five things each that we think would make for a cracking weekend on the sofa. It’s alright.

premiumTry the news. It changes quite a bit. Start about now with news from New Zealand, then move across the globe with the sun. And don’t sleep all night because your omnipresent media knowledge becomes a lot of stuff to bear. But at least it drowns out the hideous screaming voices in your head. www.thenewswillfuckyourightup.com

A, my current favourite daily blog is this:
Passiveaggressivenotes.com
Simple idea – publishing those notes/emails/post-its that housemates/workmates/colleagues put up in order to vent their spleen. It gives me a chuckle every day!
Alternatively, download the daily podcast from Danny Baker – the All Day Breakfast Show

Frankly guys, I’m getting sick and tired of coming here to post something only to find I was beaten 2 hours before. Looking at you robram! So, now I’ll have to second www.passiveaggressivenotes.com and include Lifehacker, Neatorama and Mental Floss All of which update way too frequently for me to keep up with, so will hopefully keep you busy.
