Why no advance warning of tubes at Golders Green?

Why is it that Golders Green station, out of all the tube stations I have ever passed through, seems to be the only one that does not give advance warning of the approaching tubes and their respective destinations. The standard Northern line elcectronic boards only flash up the incoming tube when you can actually see it coming down the track…

premiumGolders Green is a predominantly Jewish Area and so kosher laws are quite strictly applied .

Is it a common terminus for tubes running north? If they stop at Golders Green and are then turned round for the the return journey it’s possible that they may not pass a beacon before pulling into the south-bound platform.
Or, if this isn’t a long-term issue, maybe the beacons are broken further up the line.

premiumCould it be that the tunnel is configured in such a way as to make it easier to see the trains when they are still a long way off?
